What is particle physics?

Particle physics is the branch of physics that studies the fundamental particles of the universe and their interactions.

What are fundamental particles?

Fundamental particles are particles that are not made of other particles. Examples include quarks and leptons.

What is the Standard Model?

The Standard Model is a theory describing three of the four known fundamental forces and classifies all known elementary particles.

What are quarks?

Quarks are fundamental particles that combine to form protons and neutrons.

Define leptons.

Leptons are a family of fundamental particles including electrons, muons, tauons, and neutrinos.
