What is electricity?

Electricity is the flow of electrical charge.

What is magnetism?

Magnetism is the force of attraction or repulsion of magnetic materials.

What is an electric circuit?

An electric circuit is a closed loop of conductive material through which electric current can flow.

What is a resistor?

A resistor is a device that limits the flow of electric current.

What is Ohm's Law?

Ohm's Law states that the current passing through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage across the conductor and inversely proportional to the resistance of the conductor.

What is electric power?

Electric power is the rate at which electric energy is transferred or consumed.

What is electromagnetic induction?

Electromagnetic induction is the generation of an electromotive force (EMF) in a closed circuit due to changes in the magnetic field around the circuit.

What is a magnetic field?

A magnetic field is a region in space where a magnetic force can be detected.

What is a solenoid?

A solenoid is a coil of wire wound in a helix shape that produces a magnetic field when an electric current passes through it.

What is electric potential energy?

Electric potential energy is the energy an electric charge possesses due to its position in an electric field.

What is a generator?

A generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.

What is an electric motor?

An electric motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.

What is the difference between series and parallel circuits?

In a series circuit, the current has only one path to follow, while in a parallel circuit, the current has multiple paths to follow.

What is the relationship between voltage and current in a capacitor?

The current in a capacitor is directly proportional to the rate of change of voltage across the capacitor.

What is the right-hand rule used for in electromagnetism?

The right-hand rule is used to determine the direction of magnetic field lines around a current-carrying wire or a loop of wire.
